Our goal here is a simple one. With all the people complaining about Star Wars: The Old Republic, those of us that enjoy the game MUST make ourselves heard as well. So I am starting this campaign to get the word out to those listening at Bioware and Activision that this is not a bad game. For every person that rips on this game, there are dozens of us that enjoy it. For every person that feels there is not enough content, there are far far more of us that feel that you have done a great job giving us content in a timeline that does not put out too much, too fast and burn itself out. We like and enjoy SW:TOR and we need to make our voices heard.
I ask those of you that like and enjoy SWTOR to do two things.
One - Please post a comment here simply with your name. Feel free to add a positive comment about the game if you want. but our goal is to bring names to those at Bioware and prove to them we really do like this game.
Two - Spread the word about this campaign. Toss links up everywhere you can and lets flood the online community with positive voices and show everyone once and for all that the people that bash games will no longer be the only voices heard!
Note: Negative comments will be removed! This is a positive campaign only.
UPDATE: We are starting to get some good attention! Stephen Reid has caught wind of this and has even relinked our link on Google+. Lets keep the ball rolling and make the voices of positive heard!
Raymond Casselberry - I love this game.
ReplyDeleteThe Gamer's Fridge loves SWTOR!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the stories my characters are going through. Still loving the leveling game. Don't listen to the end-gamer whiners.
ReplyDeleteI love #SWTOR -- Adaram
ReplyDeleteI have tough love #SWTOR ! I want it to live on !
ReplyDeleteSWTOR has kept me playing longer than any MMO since WoW (which I left about 3 years ago). I love the pace of combat, the variety in the planets, and the crafting system. Most of all I love the classes. Each class (even mirror classes like DPS Commando and BH Merc)feels different from another. This makes my case of altitis worse in TOR than any MMO I played before. I also have to mention the pace of combat, which I feel is the best in the genre.
ReplyDeleteLet's face it, BW is tackling a huge learning curve here, with some stumbles and scrapes along the way. However at it's core, SWTOR is a great MMO. I just hope BW retains the resourcs (EA's coffers) to continue to improve and build upon the game they have just barely started.

ReplyDeleteSW:ToR is still a very 'young' game, but it could learn a lot from the successes before it. I enjoy it greatly for the depth of story and characterization available but still feel it has room to grow. I look forward to my time playing and can only hope they look to the past to improve their future. - Conconhead
ReplyDeleteI approve this message.
ReplyDeleteAlana <3 SWTOR
ReplyDeleteStill love this game and definitely feel that I haven't run out of things to do. Only complaint I have is that I wished I had even more time to play :)
ReplyDeleteMy name is Pelell, guildmaster of AIE on Keller's Void, and I approve this message! Keep up the good work, guys!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this game! I hadn't played a big video game in years. But I love Star Wars and the more I heard from friends about the focus on story and character combined with a massive living breathing game I could not resist. I found an amazing community of like-minded geeks who grew up watching Star Wars movies and just get the fun of the whole experience.
ReplyDeleteGamersCircle Comics enjoys this game and approves this campaign, I think that Bioware listens and has been doing a great job.
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoy this game. There's still stories I need to explore, have my son and friend waiting to play. Whoever says there's not enough content is just anti social in general. (still need more flirts and character slots =^.^+)
ReplyDeleteI love this game! I think Bioware has done a great job.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic game without the story element, with story makes it brilliant. Well done Bioware.
ReplyDeleteLong live SWTOR!!!
ReplyDeleteHaving fun, simple as that.
ReplyDeletelove it
ReplyDeleteStory telling takes a new form in SWTOR. Don't just read about the Characters.... Be one.
ReplyDeleteI am loving it and still have so much to see.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I love SWTOR and I am going to stay with this game for many, many years to come. And hopefully many other will stay with me and get involved in the community that I love. We are a passionate gathering of players and I have to say we do not listen to the negative people that tries to ruin our lovely game by down talking it and have no right to do so. And often they just say something mean and do not explain why they do feel they way they do, just comment and move on.
ReplyDeleteI am amazed by all the staff members at Bioware / EA and their passionate work they have put into the game. And you guys stay close to the community and listen and debate about the game with the community and that is a great thing. Together we can work to improve the game and see it prosper. And May the Force be with you all.
Regards from Patrik Holmqvist in Sweden.
I love the game.
ReplyDeleteI have played MMOs since they started... M59, UO, Everquest.... and dozens since then. Star Wars the Old Republic has been an amazing experience since beta for me. I love the story telling with the amazing voice acting and cut-scenes which pull you into the adventure with friends.
ReplyDeleteAnother aspect of the game which will bring me years of enjoyment is the number of stories. I have played two characters to 50 and enjoyed their class story both times, and my 3rd character which is progressing (slower pace this time because of PvP which I LOVE), has a wonderful story which has had me laughing out loud well into the early morning.
Lastly the one major thing about SWTOR that I love is how it truly brings me into the Star Wars Universe to play with my friends and to make new ones. There is simply no other MMO out or coming out that I have played which gives you the sense of adventure that the original Everquest gave me way back in the day...
Keep up the great work BioWare... you will have a life time subscriber here.
Regards from Brian Edey
